Great place to eat! The make their own bread and other baked items.

Home-town atmosphere, good food, good service.

Drove all the way there from West Lafayette to try the tenderloin. Got there at 3pm and they were closed. Web site states open till 8pm on Saturday. Won't be going back. Disappointed.

Traveling through and stopped for a late lunch. Started with a wonderful warm and creamy sweet corn chowder. Breakfast is served all day so my husband had the "train wreck" (everything) omelette, the best homemade cinnamon bread and coffee. I had the yummy ultimate 3 cheese grilled cheese on homemade wheat bread. Lastly we had the tart & sweet rhubarb pie. A great little place we highly recommend just off the interstate when traveling in the area. Take a drive around the court house and the 2 mile drive to see the historic bridge. Will stop here again!

Good food, good service, good price

The food here is amazing! Not only does it taste great, you'll get very generous portions. The atmospere is warm and very friendly. Employees working there are the best! I can see why everyone who lives, works or visits Delphi loves The Stone House Restaurant.

I don’t understand the rave reviews about this place. Parking isn’t very good and the food is very generic/basic at best. Nothing on the menu stands out as outstanding, interesting, original, or fresh and unprocessed, home cooked.The bakery part is quite small and generic as well.They only have one restroom for all to share and it’s right in the center of the restaurant. People were going in and out of the restroom right next to where we were seated.Prices are on the fair/high side considering how generic the food is.There is nothing about this place that makes me want to return and I have tried them a few times just to see if I am wrong.The reason for 3 stars is because service was ok, it appeared clean, and our order was correct.

Definitely a treat, they catered to my soy allergy and the breads are all homemade and delicious!! Friends had omelettes that were huge and very good!! Would definitely stop again!!! ❤️

The omelets are the best I've had. The bakery so many great choices. Thank you Tina for the wonderful service our short conversation made our experience fun at our mother & daughter brunch we met mother & daughter.

I don't give fives very often, but our meal was a good time. Food was great. They scrounged up there cinnamon rolls for us and friends. They also do 🍪, 🥧 and 🍰. All TAST great. Waitress was outstanding, her knowledge of the foods lead me to believe she is more than just the waitress. You will not go wrong.

If you can't have gluten, prepare to have a salad. However the salads are huge!

Love the breads and baked goods. Down home service at it's best. Quality of the meals has gone down hill over the past few years though.

Lunch very busy. Spinach salad very good, very fresh greens with almonds and cranraisons. Opted out of grilled chicken and bacon that normally comes on it. Dinner roll very good. Prices reasonable!

When you order the special, you get large portions of awesome food at a fair price. I would recommend everyone stop in and visit these lovely people. If you happen the see George and Diane (from the church) in there, tell them I say, hello!

We were traveling on the new bypass which bypasses this home style gem. We both got the lunch special country fried steak available in full or half portions with potato, vegetable and Cole Slaw. Friendly staff and clients a blend of regulars and lucky adventurers. I finished off with a slice of delicious pie. Seriously, I am still thinking of this place. I'm an ex-pat Hoosier living in Florida and plotting my return to include the Stone House. I'd forgotten the name, but it's easy to find 1 block north of 421 on old 25. Worth the short detour to avoid fast food for good food fast.

The staff needs traning or something place was not busy and we was waiting on refills and check they was more worried about staying up by register and bs with each other the customers

The Stone House is so busy---because it's soooo good! We had a retired grandmother, a mother, three children, and a 1yo in our group, and everybody found their meals to be delicious. "The Works" salad is ginormous and full of fresh flavors. The Ultimate Grilled Cheese (order the veggie bread, baked in house!) is excellent with three kinds of cheese. Children's favorite: BBQ bacon cheeseburger (on a freshly baked in house bakery roll) and also the chocolate chip cookies stuffed with vanilla cream and rolled in mini chocolate chips!! Try the sweet potato fries with the special mustard sauce.

Great place to eat. Tina is just awesome and Marty is such a prize and Lisa can cook for me anytime. I would highly recommend it to all my friends. Food is great and service is second to none.
